Wow, how did you can those without the icing melting all over or are they not officially sealed? I have some pumpking bread and some chocolate bread that you bake in jars, but I never thought about doing cakes this way. What a fun idea!! Can you tell me a little bit about how you did this? thanks. Any help is appreciated.

The jars hold the equivalent of 2 cupcakes. I have seen them where you layer the cupcakes, icing and sprinkles in the jar but with the cupcakes there is a space between the side of the jar and the cake. I like to use cake scraps and cut the circle with a 2? circle cutter. That way the cake comes right up to the sides of the jar. There is 2 layers of cake and 2 layers of icing. The last layer of icing comes up to the lid. They freeze really well and can be sold later or used as great gifts. Thanks ...
