Pirate Ship Cake

EXTREMLY WELL DONE! Got one of these to do in a few weeks....wouldn't happen to have a tutorial? :-).

You know, when i was making it I was thinking of taking pics along the way but then decided that there are so many cakes like this on CC that it was overkill. So unfortunately no, I don't have a tutorial, but do have some tips. I'll write them up and then post them shortly.

Not to put anyone elses efforts down but...your's is the best one I've seen to date :-).

wow, well considering I looked at nearly every awesome pirate ship cake on this site and others for inspiration, that's a major compliment. But truthfully I have a long list of things I ran out of time to do, such as adding a pirate, a map, cannon balls and another cannon on the deck, crows nest, rope ladder, decorative mast for the front of the ship, etc.
