Deep purple scrollwork with fresh orchids....

This is beautiful! I love the colors and the way you arranged the ribbon. I've never thought of doing it vertically and it is very effective. I also love the display, the way you set it up with the glass and goblets. Lovely!

Beautiful! Did you back the satin ribbon with anything to keep the buttercream from staining?

Thank you everyone for your very kind words. Milkmaid42, this was my first time running the ribbon in both directions and I really loved the look of it. Ivjan777, no....I did not back the ribbon. Since I use a crusting buttercream, I typically don't have an issue with the ribbon soaking up unless it's very humid out!
