In community album: Other Cakes
I have made these TWICE wiithin a matter of weeks. The First time was for my Life Group (about 30 people), the next was for an All Church event, where I made over 100 servings! BOT TIMES, people COULDN"T BELIEVE they were cake!

INSTRUCTIONS: I used a silicone pan shaped like a loaf of bread (called "Cakewich", that can be found on Amazon.com). I tinted Wilton Decorating icing with Lemon Yellow and Orange tints for the cheese (used my Kitchen aid with the wisk to make if fluffy). I used an airbrush gun to do the coloring. first did a very light 'brushing' of brown, then orange, and then a final light 'brushing' of iridescent gold. I then put the sandwiches together, and then cut them into 1/8's.

They look really fun. Would you please share instructions? How did you get the cake to look like toasted bread? :-)
