Baby Cake
This baby shower cake is yellow cake, torted and filled with hazlenut mousse, and iced and decorated in Italian meringue buttercream. I really wanted to practice my basketweave, and was pleased with how it came out. Less than pleased, though, at how many air bubbles were in my icing! Next time, I'm going to switch from the whisk beater to the paddle when adding the butter to see if that helps.

Thanks everyone! The verticals (green) of the basketweave are done with a round tip -- I think #10. I really like the extra dimensionality you get when pairing a round tip with the flat basketweave tip for the horizontals.
