Butterfly cupcakes in honor of my sister....

These cupcakes hold a special place in my heart. This Summer, my sister Jona passed from complications due to MS. Her last few weeks were spent at ClareHouse in Tulsa, OK. It is a Hospice house, run solely on donations. It is the most wonderful facility, and they treat the "guests" with dignity and grace. At this facility, they have a butterfly hatch. When one of the guests pass away, they release butterflies in honor of their passing. It is a very moving moment for the members of the family. I wanted to give back, so I created these for the workers of Clarehouse, in honor of my sister. The butterflies are wafer paper.
