It's super easy and takes no time at all! I love it! It's just a 1M tip and going in an up/down (up, over, down, over, up, over, down, over, etc...). Kind of like you're making a bunch of S's. I hope that makes sense!
Thank you, nadia.mitchell09! Sorry for the late reply. I have been having login issues with CC and was just now able to get logged in without any issue! It's been a while since I did this cake, so I'm going to try to remember step by step. I iced the top with black buttercream. I then laid down a cardstock template I had made from clipart - the #50. I traced around the template lightly with a toothpick. Piped the 5 in blue buttercream, piped the 0 in purple buttercream and smoothed as best as I could. Then finally outlined each number with the white.
What tips do you use to do the designs on the side? How did you do them?

Hi there, love this cake. How did you do the #50. Did you ice the entire cake in dark blue then outline the #'s and fill them in?
