Hi Jackie! Believe it or not, I was watching one of those cake shows on TV years before I started making cakes and I remembered seeing how a cake artist had done it. You have to sheet the fondant or gum paste first (here I used fondant so it would perfectly match the cake) and cut it to a rectangle as long as the layer's circumference. Cover the fondant with plastic while you get the next step set up... Using dowels of various sizes lay them out parallel to each other but with about 1 inch (2cm) s...
