Minnie Mouse Cake

I made this cake for my granddaughter's Minnie themed 2nd birthday party. Minnie's head was made using the Wilton ball pan and Rice Krispies treats. Thanks to Lesley (Royal Bakery, English Cake Lady) for her wonderful tutorial on making a bow, and the ruffled petticoat.

This cake is super nice! What are the ears made out of and how did you make them.?

Thank you Tina04. The ears are made from 50/50 gumpaste and fondant. I cut them out with a circle cookie cutter and put a few toothpicks in them to attach to the head.
