In album: cornelli-lace
Yellow cake with buttercream icing filled with strawberry jam. My first attempt at cornelli lace. I used a bigger tip than normal, but I think it still turned out nice.

such a cute cake, how did u make the rose?
sweetcreation 2/15/06 at 2:56pm
Thank you for your comments. I still do not like my roses, so I really appreciate you asking about it. I used tip 97, the petal tip with the curve and just swirled around the base like you would a normal rose.

Cute. What do you cover your boards with? Rose tips: the base looks too wide and for the petals, angle your tip out more as you come down ; )
