Half a cake!

I was running behind and asked my husband to make a cake for me. I said to bake an 8x2 cake and cut it in half and frost it for me. He took me literally! What I meant was to torte the cake!!! And then frost it but I knew he didn't know what "torte" meant!! Oh well, he tried!!!

That's too funny! At least he tried. My husband probably doesn't know how to turn our oven on. LOL!

I showed this to my husband and he laughed for a few minutes. He admitted that is exactly what he would have done. He also thought I made 2 cakes whenever I had frosting between the layers...even though he has watched me torte a cake.
