Wedding Black, White with Red Roses

Lovely! Is that black fondant on the sides of the cake or did you use icing and pipe it on?Are the flowers sugar paste or silk? Beautiful!

I piped the scrolls and the leaves, Then made some gum paste black leaves and used those for extra touch here and there. The flowers she wanted 2 dozens real roses. I got one doz. still tight not opened up all the way and one doz. slightly opened and by the time the wedding took place thought they were perfect. First time i have used the real flowers. But turned out good thanks for your kind words. I was in delvery room when the bride was born so i felt OLD watching her walk down the asile.
