This cake was special request from my son this year. First, let me say how much I really prefer not to use nonedible items BUT that is what he wanted, so that is what he got! Kids and their toys :) So he thought he would "challenge" me so he said he wanted a farm field with a John Deere tractor in it, a police car and a fire truck and of course a barn. So I thought barn fire! All toy vehicles and I added a recuse helicopter flying overhead and an ambulance. The barn is covered in fondant and hand painted. Everything else is buttercream and cookie crumbs. He loved it!
