Western theme baby shower cake.....

I was asked to create a baby shower cake for a beautiful mother to be. She is expecting her fourth little boy, and this Summer, her husband passed away unexpectedly. I can't even image what she has gone through, and continues to go through, and I was so honored to be able to donate this cake for her shower. The theme was Western, so I iced the cake in buttercream. Then I hand cut "cow patches" out of brown fondant. I made the little red cowboy hat out of candy melts, and then made a chocolate horse shoe, with the little cowboy-to-be's name "Evan" on it!
