My first attempt at a "whimsical", "topsy-turvy" cake. It was an enormous hit!
Layers 2 and 4 are stryofoam drums. All tiers are iced in BC with Fondant accents. I'd love to hear your thoughts. The theme of the party was a "Creative Black and White Tie Dance".
Love it - although I just cracked my neck trying to look at it the right way up :D
It's a crooked cake. I couldn't very well put the photo straight up and down. Thanks for looking.
wow great job! Did you cut the wedges yourself or can you buy styrofoam wedges like that? [email protected]
I cut them myself...just me and the electric knife!
gotta love the electric knife... I use it all the time to sculpt cakes. Love your topsy turvey... great idea to use 1/2 real cake and 1/2 styrofoam... have to keep that in mind
I like it. It is sooooooo cute :D
I love the black and white theme and the whimsicalness to it. Maybe a little to busy for my eyes. AWESOME JOB :)
