Beautiful and elegant! What color did you use for the flowers? It's so rich looking. I, too, would like to know how you made the flowers.

Thanks, there are a few different flowers, I will do my best to describe it...I rolled gumpaste very thing and cut it into strips, then I pinched the top so it wasn't so straight, I then folded it like a fan, it took about four "mini fans" to make one flower and I adhered them to 3 inch circle I cut using a biscuit cutter that I pinched the edges again to not have a straight line.

The color, I find gumpaste won't take color as well and as vibrant as fondant so I used red and purple and a small amount of black gel coloring but after painted them by hand with a "burgundy" I mixed then I brushed them with a deep pink luster dust in the centers...it took a lot of layering and waiting for it to dry to get the color I wanted. the edges are bronze pearl dust. It's kind of hard to explain maybe I will take some step by step pics for a separate post when wedding season slows down.

Thank you so much! These are perfect! I was wondering how you attach them to the cake? Are they dry and you attach with gum glue?
