So this groom catches alligators....the mother-in-law thought it would be cute to have the bride's (her daughter) hand trying to choke/catch the alligator. Needless to say.....it got more attention than the wedding cake! Everything but her ring and fingernails are edible. Including the hand! The hand started out to be fondant and I didn't like it so I covered it in modeling chocolate.

The cake is a carved quarter sheet. Only the eyeballs & teeth are fondant. The rest is butter cream
