BUSHEL OF MD BLUE CRABS

The bushel basket is a 10"cake covered in fondant. The crabs are made out of bread.

I don't like sea food but this cake sure makes me want some...great detail really great cake

Actually the bread was frozen pizza dough. I rolled it out and cut out the shape of the crab and the legs,then attach the legs under the crab with water, air brushed it with red and orange. let it rise (this makes under the crab white) then bake. Oh yes, sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar (looks like the spices on top).
