Topper for Christening Cake

This is the topper I made for a Christening cake. I think her mum was making the actual cake however I was asked if I could make a little elephant and the blocks to go on top. They turned out so very cute......was really surprised by how long the blocks took to make....

Very cute elephant and the cubes are fantastic. Do you mind sharing how you made the cubes with the borders? or maybe a link to a tutorial would be appreciated.

Thank you for your lovely comments. 'mummy22' and 'rosa369' I didn't follow a tutorial (hence the reason they probably took me so long lol) but I will msg you both telling you how I did it. Rosa369 they are made out of fondant with CMC added - they are only 3cms x 3cms...I have never actually worked with RK but I am sure you could make them with that....maybe would be better as then they would be lighter I suppose.
