Truck is three quarter sheets stacked and carved. Pieces are used to make sleeper. Both cake are on 1/2 inch MDF, Wheels are styro covered with fondant. Event was to celibrate 50th birthday and 1 million miles.

Wonderful cake. I have been commissioned to build a 70 year old truck driver's "tractor trailer cake" and I was looking for the best ones on here, this one is hands down the best I've seen! Great job! Very proportionate!
Thanks for sharing your workflow! I was knocking around ideas on how I was going to elevate the trailer. I was planning on using some kind of wood base.
