Amazing. How did you make them look so soft, without cracks, etc. I made a pair of mary jane shoes and they looked brittle, dry, and the gum paste was crackly. Any advise would be welcome.

I use 1/2 and 1/2 fondant/gum paste. if you use too much gum paste; it tends to dry to quick. Also I use plenty of shortening! Hope this helps!
