A great way to use up those cake offcuts. We have caramel flavoured condensed milk here in New Zealand, but you can just make standard caramel using normal condensed milk.
Soft caramel-brownie slice:

Approx 3 cups cake offcuts, lightly broken up

 200g butter
 1 C sugar
 1 egg
 2 C flour
 2 tsp baking powder
 1/3 C cocoa
 1 tin caramel condensed milk

Cream butter and sugar. Add egg. Add dry ingedients, combine until mixture looks like cookie dough. Add cake offcuts (if using an electric cake mixer, remove from machine and do this part by hand), and mix to lightly combine, but so you can still clearly see cake parts.
Squash half of mixture into a large slice tin, squash down flat. Pour over caramel condensed milk, spread evenly with back of a spoon. Add rest of mixture, press down evenly on top. You don't have to cover the whole slice, like I have, and some of the delicious caramel will "peek" out.
Bake at 180C for around 15-20 mins until edges are golden brown.
Cut when cold, store in the fridge.
