I made this cake for a wedding this weekend. The mother of the bride gave me a picture of a cake that they wanted and after a bit of research I found the original was by the Birchgrove Bakery. The only thing I did differently were the bows. I made them a more feminine style. TFL.

    This is SO cute! How did you get the sprinkles to stick to the cake so perfectly?

    The sprinkles are stuck on by brushing melted white chocolate onto the fondant covered cake in small sections and then scooping up the sprinkles and pressing them onto the cake.

    Did you use buttercream icing so that the jimmies would stick, or did you use fondant? It really is pretty and different.
