Beautiful! Are the head and body all one piece? How did you keep the neck from falling and how long did you make it before putting it on the cake? Thank you!

Thank you every one the head and body were made in one piece I just made a cone shape then kept tapering it at the end until I got the shape that I liked,. then I inserted a wire through the head into the body and bent it to the angle that I wonted the head to be. I left about 3"-4" wire sticking out were the beak would be re-smoothed the neck then put it on a dummy cake the spare wire I pulled over and pushed into the dummy when I was happy with the look and angle of the neck I then shaped the face pinc...

Reshaped the face pinching were the beak would be the eyes were sugar pearls it took 2 days to dry I forgot to say that I used white wire . The fathers were all free hand I just cut out teardrop shapes then cut lots and lots of little cuts into them dusted them and put them strait onto the cake working from the bottom to the top hope this helps
