It's beautiful! I love to see a buttercream cake. Takes more skill than fondant IMO.

Thank You! And yes I agree... buttercream takes a lot more time and skill to make it look smooth and square cakes are even more of a challenge!

I love it. I agree buttercream is so much more beautiful. I must admit I am no where near as good as you at getting it to look so perfect and don't even get me near a square cake. They scare me so bad but I know I need to practice them, so tired of doing round and sheet cakes. And you fondant work to so clean, how did you get it that way?

Thank you sweettreats36! This was actually the first square buttercream frosted cake I ever made. I use the Viva paper towel method for smoothing the buttercream after it crusts which works really well for me and as for the corners I used 2 fondant smothers at the same time (one in each hand) to kind of push the frosting in place in order to get a sharp edge.
