Cake made for a 5 y.o. Cake was iced in buttercream frosting colored with a royal blue gel color. The sand was made using crushed animal crackers with white "crunchy" sanding sugar and gold luster dust. The Sponger and his playmate were made using RKT and wrapped in fondant with a buttercream adhesive. The lettering and flowers were made using fondant.
