This 10" heart cake is iced in buttercream. Flowers are fondant, as is the lace border which is from a mold. It was the 1st time I used it and probably made the lace too thin so it was hard to apply w/o it falling off. I made monthly cakes for a business having complete freedom to make whatever I wanted. This was for Feb. b'days.
gail - hehe......it's just lots of practice. Many times I use presses but on this one it's just freehanded.
