This is my first attempt on carved cakes. I made this for my cousin?s birthday last Sunday. I had a very busy week so I only had Saturday morning to stack, carve and ganache the cake. Then Sunday afternoon to make rice crispies tires, to cover and decorate the cake. I really thought I wouldn?t finish the cake on time because the weather was definitely NOT cooperating. I cheated and just painted the windows and the windshield just to finish the cake exactly on time for the dinner party lol. I also bought some rock chocolate candies! They loved the cake. I think I did okay for my first try. haha
