If I were to renew my vows this would be my cake. Absolutely lovely. Is it mini? What size? How did you get the pearls to look so real? I've made pearls but they don't look that real! Please do tell. :-)

Thank you so much! It is a small cake, 8"/6"/4". The pearls were made with a first impressions silicone mould. Then they were painted with lustre. xx

This is beautiful. My soon to be sister-in-law asked me to do her wedding cake and she loves pearls! I might be stealing this idea! Also, is the lace edible....did you use Sugar Veil? She also wants her cake to look vintage so I would love to incorporate some lace and was thinking of trying out the Sugar Veil product.

Thank you! The lace is real - I haven't dabbled in sugarveil yet, although I do have the rose mantilla lace mat that I use to emboss cupcakes.
