Sock monkey cake for a friend's birthday. Bottom layer is a cake dummy. Middle layer and hat are Snickerdoodle cake with cinnamon buttercream filling. Hat is covered and decorated with fondant, other two layers are covered with vanilla buttercream with fondant accents (even the buttons!). Monkey is made from fondant and gumpaste.
