All tiers were mandarin orange cake with alternating layers of pineapple-vanilla cream and creamcicle blanc mange fillings. The cake was covered in teal, white and navy fondant. A friend who has never decorated wanted to help, and since it was for a relative (and free to boot) I let her do most of the work. Not bad for a maiden voyage! Take a bow,Hilary.
