A Garden Party

This cake was for a themed party I hosted for a friend visiting from Europe. Cake is 9" and 6" with hot pink gumpaste dahlias in different sizes; it's lemon cake with strawberry buttercream covered in fondant. I was inspired by a cake picture that was in a thread in the forums here. The picture wasn't credited so I don't know who the cake designer is. I had already made the large dahlia, just didn't know what I wanted to do with it until I saw that cake. TFL! **UPDATE** Picture was from The Knot; baker no longer in business.
