So this was only the second time I attempted flower blocking and it came out beautifully!! The florist was supposed to put the flowers in the styrofoam but she was so behind I offered to do and am glad I did. I think that will be a new rule. Buttercream cake with white scrolling, gumpaste 'A' topper and 6 or 7 dozen fresh flowers! Hot pink and orange roses, orange and white hydrangeas, orange daises, white and hot pink carnations.
