Beautiful roses!!! I tried to make red roses and my fondant wouldn't cooperate. Is there a trick to it? your roses are perfect!!! thank you :)

They are made of gum paste (Nicholas lodge receipe) I had to add more sugar after I added so much red paste color to the batch but they still looked a little orange to me till I dusted them with red petal dust and then highlighted the edges with purple
