Very nice!! What did you use for the strings?

I purchased a light gauge wire for the stings. If I had to do it over again, I would 'burry', a piece of wrapped foam core or cardboard inside the cake where I inserted the wires in the body of the guitar. I wrapped the wires around a bamboo skewer and burried it in the cake. Had I put the cardboard/foam core, It would have held the bamboo skewer in place and kept the guitar 'strings', nice and straight.
