I saw a cake by another cake decorator (iambaker.net) that when you cut it, it looked like an ornament was inside. This is my version, my sister-in-law (Olivia) likes angels. I know, not great but it is supposed to be an angel. The outside is called ruffles but it reminds me of christmas ribbon candy. I think this technique came from Martha Stewart (but not really sure).
