This was for my uncle's 80th birthday. He and my aunt have always traveled around touring lighthouses. Cape Hatteras is his favorite. The cake is vanilla almond and covered in MMF. The top of the lighthouse is made out of gumpaste with gelatin used for the windows. The light is a tiny battery operated tea light.
