For my neice - she is into Monster High stuff, and the skull is the logo. It's a vanilla confetti cake under fondant. I decided on a heavy chain for the purse because all the pink and purple made it look very "girly," and Monster High is fairly "goth" in its look. This took WAY longer than I expected, so I didn't get to finish the argyle - I wanted to do a fine white cross hatch effect on it, but we were late for the party - ran out of time. Sorry for the dark pic, but I had to finish assembling at the party and had to hide the cake from the bday girl in a darker back bedroom. It was the only place I could get a finished pic. The next 2 pics show the cake in my brighter kitchen but it's not assembled all the way.
