Lambeth Cake

A dummy cake for practise. I've feared this very top border design since I bought the Lambeth book 6 years ago, but finally got around to try it out. It might end up as a favorite! Gave it some personal touches as well.

I love this! I've always been attracted to the Lambeth method. The few books I found on line were so outrageously priced there was no way I could purchase them. They say it's a lost art, but it's one I'd love to learn. To me, it takes lots and lots of talent, patience and fabulous piping skills! It is truly beautiful. If you do know of a more current book that is out, I'd like to know. But the original Lambeth books are very, very costly.
