I designed this cake for my college roomies baby shower! She chose a Tree Top Friends pattern for the nursery bedding and is in love with owls. After doing this cake, I am now also a huge Owl Fan. I made the cake topper and the cupcake toppers a few days in advance out of gumpaste and fondant and was so glad I did. They were very time consuming but I was very impressed with how they turned out and they were a huge hit at the shower!
