My friend's niece wanted a giraffe theme, so I made a 4-layer 9" round buttercream French Vanilla cake with alternating layers of Bavarian cream and raspberry filling. The fondant/gumpaste giraffe is sitting on a one layer 5" round. The base is smoothed buttercream and the decor is fondant. She loved it, and that counts more than my whining about doing yet another jungle cake! ;D
