I just love these surprises! Maybe I'll try one for July 4th. Yours is lovely. I'm sure everybody was thrilled when they saw the inside!

yes they are licorice but they aren't candles. I just needed something else to decorate with. it was kind of a last minute cake and it was all I had on hand :)
