Loved making this cupcake tower.  I went with a 2 tier top cake which had a 6 inch base and a 4 inch top.  The flowers are all made from gumpaste.

i would love to get that acrylic stand but my bf says it doesnt hold too much weight, do u think it would hold an 8inch, high cake, removing the 6 inch plate? TIA!

I think so. It is pretty sturdy once all together. I put a piece of non slip matting under the top cake in case of movement. I think the stand would hold the only issue is if it gets knocked but then anything at that height would have an issue if knocked. Thinking about it the cake i did was probably 9 inches high and weighed quite a bit and was fine. The cake plate sizes of the classikool maypole stand go up in odd numbers so the plate beneath that one is 9". I didn't use the largest plate at the ...
