I've wanted to try a Peacock themed cake for a while, and this is what I came up with. It's an 8" layer cake iced in buttercream. I cut the peacock feathers from fondant, allowed them to dry for a bit, and then hand painted them with Americolor gels. I then attached them to the cake and added the black piping.
