I think I will add a little brown stem and green leaf in fondant to each apple if I may. This idea is sooooo cute. I am an English teacher in Mexico and I know my students will love this idea! They love it when I get a new idea from you guys and they get to eat the results, lol.
I think the stem and leaf would be perfect! I wish I had thought of it. My sister is a teacher and wanted an end of year "cake". I've had the idea to do this for a long time and finally did it. Now I want to make it again with stems and leaves. Thanks for sharing your idea!
