This was my first "Icing Smiles" cake! (icingsmiles.org) Icing Smiles is a nonprofit organization that provides custom celebration cakes and other treats to families impacted by the critical illness of a child. It was my pleasure to create a birthday cake for Giuliana who likes the colors pink & teal and is a ballet dancer. Cake sizes were 6" & 9". I made my own template for the shoes by looking at a real pair of pointe shoes! Cake was white with raspberry imbc in top tier & strawberry imbc in bottom tier.
