Final Class Project
This was my final cake for level three. The roses were a challenge, but, by the time I got through half of them, I think I had them down fairly well....I retired from a high stress management job to go to Pastry Chef school and learn this as well, so I am having a blast! Looking forward to a new life in something creative!

It looks great! Good luck with your new career change. I was wondering what you made the roses out of-fondant or 1/2 fond 1/2 gumpaste? If gumpaste, which type? Thanks! I want to try making roses like those.

This cake was done in my Wilton decorating course. But I am attending a Baking and Pastry Chef course at a Community college in Olympia Wa. Are you from this area?
