You managed to capture all the whimsy and choas of Alice in Wonderland whilst keeping it balanced and beautiful. I absolutely adore your cake and your talent. Thanks for sharing!
What a superb cake, I love the teapot pouring into the cup. So much detail and talent went into it. What cake tins did you use and did you carve the whimsical cakes. I am hoping to try out a whimsical cake soon but first need to work out the best way to do them.
Thank you for sharing!
THank you so much! It sure was fun to make. SJ I actually used the topsy turvy cake pan on this one. I have hand carved a top/tur cake before and I think the pan is awesome and easier
!
Midgy~ The teapot is made out of solid modeling chocolate. I just rolled it into a ball and gave it the basic teapot shape then I added the spout and handle. I just added the decorations on the teapot. They are modeling chocolate as well. Hope that helps :o)
My grandbabies are coming to stay for the summer and I am decorating a room for them in ALice in Wonderland. I would love to get more information on how you did this cake. Would you mind sending me a little more details to Harperomatic54@gmail.com. especially little Alice. Thanks so much!! Vickie
