Mother's Day chocolate & peanut butter 'planter' cake. Rice Krispie hummingbird with edible paper wings, gumpaste flowers & wood, and Oreo crumb soil.

I totally LOVE this cake. Your flowers and hummingbird is so beautiful. How did you get the bird to look like its in flight?( how did you connect it to the cake?)

Your idea and design are wonderful and realistic looking, any mother would want this on her table, I want it on my table,lol.

Thanks everyone! The hummingbird is made from rice krispie treats covered in fondant and painted with a combination of dusts and gel colours. I inserted a long wooden skewer that sticks down through the flower and into a thick foam base.
