the plaid was just simply drawing vertical and horizontal lines with the chocolate royal icing and then doing the same with the white just slightly next to the brown lines..........very simple to do.....i was actually surprised @ how it looked too LOL I have to ship some of them so I was stumped on how to keep the m&ms from jiggling all over......but I think I figured it out.......there's a piece of styrofoam with the m&ms on top of it.....and I shrink wrapped that first and then put it inside of the pot.

I love these!! I just made my first cookies with the "no fail" sugar cookies recipe and antonia74's icing. They were cute, but not this cute!! I've got lots of practicing to do!

awwwwwwwww......you guys are too nice with your compliments thank you so much.......it was my first time working with these recipes......actually only my second time decorating cookies and my first time putting them into bouquets so I am pretty happy with how they turned out......thank you

well, I just made them for family as gifts for Valentine's day........but I have had people offer to buy them for 30 bucks!!!!! I think that's kinda high considering the pots were only 1.29 and there is only 8 cookies .....but it was time consuming painting the pots and decorating the cookies and shrink wrapping, etc....so I don't know

Looks amazing. How did you do the pink plaid on the right? That is awesome!! I love the use of M & M's on the bottom. I may have to borrow your idea!

just added cocoa powder to my regular royal icing until it was the color of brown I was after.....and thinned it back down with some water til it was back to the consistency I needed!!

thanks......yeah the pots were simple.....just used blue painters tape and taped off strips and painted the pink, blue, yellow......then removed them and went back and filled in with the brown.....they were just regular ol' terracotta pots
